Hi! We are the Jet Propulsion Club (JPC) — the very first rocket and propulsion club at NTU. Our members are driven by curiosity, collaboration, and the thrill of flight. From design and simulation to fabrication and launch, we aim to push the boundaries of student rocketry in Singapore.
The logo for the NTU Jet Propulsion Club was designed with a deep connection to the club's values and mission. Drawing inspiration from the elements of sky, fire, and rocket science, the design incorporates a lion to symbolize strength and courage, alongside a rocket to represent the club's focus on space exploration. The blue and white colors reflect the sky, while gold symbolizes the power of fire, and brown represents the lion's strength. The overall shape of the logo is crafted to resemble an insignia, evoking pride and unity among members. Designed by aaronsnapshots, this logo captures the essence of the club's core principles of Character, Competence, Conviction, and Fortitude.
Team members in Propulsion deal with the heart of the vehicle and that is the motor, as well as other devices which deals with pressure. This sub-team is responsible in making sure our rocket propels forward with all it's might as well go through seperation for parachute deployment.
This team deals with the skeleton of the rocket and that would primarly be the airframe. They would have to design, simulate and test the rocket while making sure the objectives are met.
This team deals with the electrical side of things and gives life to the components of our rocket. These members design electrical circuits and decide the avionics components our rocket would need.
This is where innovation is driven. This team is incharge of building our CANSATs while meeting competition goals. This team could consist of multiple disciplines, from electrical, mechanical to biology to meet the needs of our CANSATs.
The Admin Team is incharge of outreach, logistics and publicity. With the significant works of members from the Admin Team, NTU JPC is able to put itself on the map and make things happen.
We’re always looking for passionate members who love science, engineering, and teamwork. If you want to help us build, test, and launch — we‘d love to hear from you.
